Her name was Christie, and she was just 25 when she was found murdered in her home. But with few clues, the case soon grew cold. No evidence stuck out at the crime scene - except for a burnt cigarette. Was it left behind by her killer?

Anyone that has any indication of red flags, such as warrants, no car although they work a good paying job, those signs should never be ignored. Women need to pay attention alot more closely. And if there is a person from the past, that you haven't know since a teen, it is vital to meet them elsewhere, until you get a real good handle on who they've turned out to be. And do a background check on someone before you let them in your home, if that is possible. This woman was too trusting with someone she hadn't known in a long time. A person can change so much from the years since she knew him before. She apparently didn't know he had anger issues. And given that he was committing adultery on his wife and found out, if confronting him about that is what set him off, I feel Christie should have confronted him outside her home, say at a cafe. I hope we can take something from this story and be extra vigilant ladies. I appreciate that her death can have benefit to other women, if we will learn from her tragic end.
I agree, it's dangerous and you don't know if he will go bonkers when you find out the truth about him being married or if his wife can find out about you and go bonkers on you. I don't understand why she couldn't find herself a decent man instead of a married man, and with warrants nonetheless. What were the warrants for anyway? I wish the show had mentioned it, as this may have had something to do with his temper and would have alerted Christie to be more careful around him.
